PRS has over 25 years experience in the salvage food industry alone. PRS brings a wealth of knowledge to handling distressed loads of food. It was how PRS got into this business from the beginning and has allowed us to become experts in the field. PRS works hand and hand with USDA representatives from their National Office in Colorado to make sure all requirements and precautions are being taken. 70 - 90%% of all food claims are worth reselling and safe for the consumer to eat.

After thorough testing, visual inspections and possible re-inspections at Grade A facilities, we then move to sell to secondary markets, such as Prisons, Food Banks, Licensed Grocery outlets or Distributors.

Once testing is approved, we then must work through all name brand concerns and deal with them.  This includes a mutitude of possible options. It is not a black and white situation. Many items can be reworked or re-approved for sale into the maket, and relabeled through proper USDA locations and new establishment numbers.
